WEEKLY ROSE CARE

 

I take care of rose with a rose schedule used by Pat Welch in her excellent book "Southern California Gardening".  If you remember Dick Streeper, San Diego's beloved rose man for decades, it is also the same basic program that he wrote about.

I have a degree in Ornamental Horticlure and have been working as a professional rose gardener for over 17 years.  I have been the vice-president of the San Diego Rose Society and was very active in the club in the past.  I have received awards from the San Diego Rose Society including the Rosebud Award and Best Novice rose exhibitor trophy.  I also had an award winning article I wrote published in the American Rose Society magazine.

I charge an hourly rate and bill once a month.  The hours I work flucuate greatly throughout the year, depending on the roses' bloom cycle.  Within six weeks of my taking over your rose garden, you will be able to cut roses and bring them in your home.

Most of my clients I have worked for for over 15 years.  I do all the work myself, so I only take a few clients at a time.  I happen to have a couple of spots avalible right now, so call me and I will give you the rose garden of your dreams.
